Managerís Report

Read by Glenn Dalton

Joe Nicoloff: Asks what the current lake level is.

Glenn Dalton: Reports it was at 17 inches Tuesday.


Security Report

Read by Glenn Dalton

Total incidents reported was 41. Total written citations was 25. Incidents were animals 4, vehicles 4, property 5, persons 5, alarm responses 1, lake 9 and other 13.

Jim McCann: Asks about a report on a pwc dead on the water and if it was informational only or because a report was done.

Glenn Dalton: Answers it was on the report only because a report was written on it.

Jason Hicks: Asks about pet ducks on a report.

Glenn Dalton: Answers there is no pet ducks allowed.

Jim McCann: States he notices the same dogs are responsible for a couple of violent acts.

Glenn Dalton: States the owner is being fined and they are going to be leaving the area before the end of the month.

Old Business

Covenant Voting

1037 Votes cast, 608 by ballot and 429 by proxy. Total votes out there 1795.

Jim McCann: States in the August issue of the Holiday Times there is an article on the Covenant vote pertaining to members who have not voted yet.

Gerry Theodor 1346: States he came in to the office to redo his vote and talked to a gentleman that was going to vote no, but he changed his vote to a yes. States that the gentleman had the situation completely reversed and thought if he voted yes for the covenants that he was giving the board all the latitude to do whatever they wanted. I donít know how we can turn that thinking around and whatís causing it.


Port Lane Update

Glenn Dalton: States they were over at Port Lane with an engineer, walked the property, came up with what they feel is a good plan and the engineer concurs. Iím waiting on numbers from him to go forward. At the next meeting we should have that down.

David Decker: Asks if Glenn Dalton gave information to him so he could create an estimate to do the engineering stuff.

Glenn Dalton: Yes, so he could create an estimate for us and then we will come back to you guys with our plan.

Jim McCann: Have we had any communication with the property owners on Port Lane telling them to cease and assist from making any more changes to the front of their property and to our property?

Glenn Dalton: We have not sent out a letter yet because we wanted to get an idea of what our plan was going to be but we have talked to several of the property owners and we have reinforced that fact several times.

Guest Identification Rule

Action: Vote on August 22nd meeting.


Slow Moving Vehicle Rule

Ray Garber: Asks if atvís are an issue for security.

Glenn Dalton: Answers no, they are not allowed on the roads.

Action: Tabled until feedback from attorney and sheriff.


Buoy Plan

Glenn Dalton: Shows everyone a projected picture of what the buoy plan is and explains it.

Jim McCann: States he would like different buoys without the eyelet at the top used and coast guard approved. Feels that could be a liability.

David Decker: Weíre not making any changes at this point and everything is staying the way it is until we get an approved plan.

Glenn Dalton: Yes.

Gerry Theodor 1346: Ray pointed out something to me and I do think there is a mistake on here. The cove in which Ray lives there is a no wake buoy there and itís not showing on here.

Glenn Dalton: States there is one there.


Building Committee Report for July 17th & August 7th

The Building Committee cared for 8 items at the two meetings. A permit for 1 fence and 1 porch

was approved and 6 refunds for completed projects were approved.
